YA Cafe: 2012 Debuts on my TBR List

I announced last week that I’m participating in the 2012 Debut Author Challenge. For the challenge, I need to read and review/discuss at least 12 books by debut young adult or middle grade authors. (I’m focusing on young adult authors to keep it part of YA Cafe.) There are SO many to choose from, but here are a few 2012 debuts that have piqued my interest:

The Whole Story of Half a Girl
by Veera Hiranandani

Never Eighteen
by Megan Bostic

The Miseducation of Cameron Post
by Emily M. Danforth

by Gina Damico

by Jill Hathaway

Welcome Caller, This is Chloe
by Shelley Coriell

My Life Next Door
by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Something Like Normal
by Trish Doller

Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone
by Kat Rosenfield

And here are a few that don’t have covers up yet, but I’m still excited for them:

The Downside of Being Charlie by Jenny Torres Sanchez (5/22/12)

Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill (11/13/12)

This isn’t the final list of titles I’ll discuss for the challenge, since I haven’t had the chance to check out all of next year’s debuts. But I’m sure at least a few of these will be on the list. It’s going to be a great year for reading!
